Christmas Once Upon A Time

WILLIAMSPORT, PENN. – Front porches across America may be cold and snowy this holiday season, but the music created on them is warm and comforting.

The Front Porch Country Band, the popular Pennsylvania-based original American country musicians, has four albums available for holiday gift-giving this year. The band’s newest album, “Here We Go Again” includes 15 original new songs and recordings that help listeners travel with the band throughout the back roads of the United States.

“Here We Go Again” showcases the soaring six-part harmonies and dazzling play of one of America’s greatest guitar bands. Taken as a whole, the album is tour deforce --- a musical odyssey that never lets up with listeners hitching a musical ride from the northern Canadian border to the southern Mississippi delta. The music travels from the sun-drenched western Pacific to the eastern blue Atlantic, with stopovers in Alaska, Hawaii, Asia, and even Europe, along the way.

“These are perfect stocking stuffers,” says Rick Buck, lead guitarist of the band. “The songs are inspired by our experiences growing up in the Susquehanna Valley of Pennsylvania and from our travels around the world.”

Twelve New Songs for Christmas

Released in 2008, the “Christmas Once Upon a Time” album features a full hour of original holiday music. The title track quickly rose to become the #1 Christmas song in the world on the world’s largest Internet music subscriber system.

The twelve featured songs on the album include a Christmas Trilogy of “Come Christmas,” “Beautiful Christmas Boy” and “Come, Let Us Sing” along with the island rhythm sounds of “Merry Christmas Day” and “Christmas All Over the World.” The Christmas album also features “Country Christmas,” the band’s newest family Christmas anthem.
