WILLIAMSPORT, PENN. – On Saturday, December 12, 2009, the six-part harmonies of The Front Porch Country Band combine to provide a unique Christmas celebration for Susquehanna Valley area music lovers and families. Beginning at 7:30 pm, the band will perform selections from their acclaimed “Christmas Once Upon a Time” album at the Williamsport Community Arts Center. “We’ve been looking forward to this event all year,” says Johnny Jolin, lead singer and a founding member of the band. “This is our Christmas gift to the people in the valley. We’re going to share the original holiday songs we created for our popular album, including the Christmas Trilogy of songs ‘Come Christmas,’ ‘Beautiful Christmas Boy’ and ‘Come, Let Us Sing’ along with several other new Christmas compositions.”
The 90-minute holiday experience features the animated presentation of Christmas of the King - A Child's Bedtime Story, along with the international musical extravaganza “Christmas All Over the World.” This delightful suite sails through folk, rock, reggae and calypso style music in a seamless presentation. Energetic, dynamic and memorable, the composition includes the heartfelt musical accomplishments that The Front Porch Country Band has become famous for worldwide.

The Front Porch Country Band was formed in 2001 and has previously released the following albums: “Here We Go Again,” “America Standing Tall,” “Somebody Tonight” and “The World China Tour.” The band includes six singer/songwriters who make their homes in Pennsylvania’s scenic Susquehanna Valley.
