NORTH COUNTRY, U.S.A. - With a creative avalanche of 19 original new recordings, at noon today The Front Porch Country Band announced its worldwide release of the band’s first full-length Christmas album: Christmas Once Upon A Time - The Christmas Album

The Christmas Album is the second in a wave of three new albums being released by The Front Porch Country Band within 12 months. Their songs are available now for digital download from the world’s greatest online music retailers including iTunes and Napster. “These songs are inspired by the Pennsylvania Christmas’s we’ve grown up with,” says lead singer Johnny Jolin. “This region is our home – and we really love taking our original songs created here in The Susquehanna Valley to our fans around the world.

NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD. The Christmas Album’s title track rose to become the Number One Christmas Song In The World for 44 weeks on the world’s largest internet music subscriber system following its earlier release as a single – and inspired the band’s new video. “We’ve chosen Lewisburg as the focus for this video because the band was born here,” says Rick Buck, founding band member and owner of the Lewisburg Hotel. “We’re proud that Lewisburg has been named one of America’s Top 10 Best Small Towns. We love showing our fans around the world the town where it all began.”
THE ONE WORLD TOUR. The band recently returned from their 21,000-mile world tour where they headlined for weeks on the world’s greatest stages. This summer they released their 2-Disc album showcasing the 18 original songs from their tour: The World China Tour. The band plans to continue their overseas shows in 2009 with “The One World Tour.”
All six members of The Front Porch Country Band are singer/songwriters who reside in Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley. Band members include:
