SONG RIDES METEOR SHOCKWAVE ONTO AIRWAVES
ONE WEEK AFTER METEOR EVENT SONG IS STILL GAINING SPEED

Lewisburg, PA Just one week after a meteor shockwave shook the whole eastern United States, The Front Porch Country Band announced today it is rushing its hot new radio hit into music stores.

"Hot Rock Came To The Country" is receiving heavy radio airplay on a growing roster of Pennsylvania radio stations, including the number one station in Lycoming County, the location where the meteor is believed to have hit just one week ago today.

The country crossover song has spent the last three days enjoying heavy rotation on an ever-expanding list of popular country and rock stations. Like the event that inspired it, the song is generating its own shockwave as radio airplay continues rolling out in concentric circles from its point of impact.

"Our listeners just can't seem to get enough of it" said Ted Minnier, Program Director for WILQ, Williamsport's top-rated country station. "Our phones are lighting up with requests to play the song - and we're spinning it as often as other popular tunes. The song really rocks, our listeners just seem to love it!"

The song is the first single released from the newest recording artists to come out of Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley Heartland. The band is preparing for the release of their debut album, "Somebody Tonight," scheduled for shortly after Labor Day.

The band expects to have their new single in stores within a week. Until then, fans can request the song from their favorite radio stations. Listeners who don't yet find their stations playing the song should call and request it. The song can be downloaded free at the band's website www.frontporchcountryband.com.
