The Front Porch Country Band

The Front Porch Country Band has donated thousands to American charities through
partnerships with national and local organizations like the United Way.

Like all Americans, The Front Porch Country Band was shocked
and saddened by the devastation from the attack on our nation on September 11, 2001.

"We felt the need to express our sentiments in our art. We offer these new original recordings
as our tribute to the innocent victims who died, their families, and every American who mourns our
nation's loss. If we can help unite Americans through our music and allow others to reflect on this past
week, we'll be humbled to have been even a small part of our country's healing and recovery."

Rick Buck

Rick: "…we want people to hear the music and be able to think…and maybe even cry…"
"My initial reaction to the events was the intense feeling of helplessness. I was in a state of shock and disbelief at what had happened. As a band, we want people to hear the music and be able to think about, and even cry about, the tragic events that have personally affected so many people. We want to touch other people. Hopefully the music will help."

Johnny Jolin

Johnny: "…my heart goes out to those who lost loved ones…"
"I was initially in a state of disbelief. It wasn't real to me at first. I got a phone call from my wife who was in tears. I just remember wanting to be home with my family and the people that I cared about most. I couldn't concentrate. I felt heartsick and angry. With my experience in the U.S. Army, I'm especially sensitive to the innocence of the victims. I don't think we should ever forget those individuals who were killed and the price they paid. Those people didn't get a choice and my heart goes out to those who lost loved ones on that terrible day."

Joseph Paul

Joseph: "…I hope this music will touch the hearts of other Americans…"
"After my own initial feelings of anger I had a chance to reflect. I know in my heart justice will prevail. We're a nation of laws seeking justice…not revenge. This music is giving our band the opportunity to continue to heal and to grieve in our own way. We just want to show our support and do our part. It's not about putting out a song, it's about doing our part to help out. Hopefully the music will touch and join the hearts of Americans."

Kim Reichley

Kimbo: "…our music is just a way to show our patriotism as Americans…"
"My first reaction the moment I heard what was happening was that of shock and amazement. Amazement that such a devastating and far-reaching attack could be made within our own country. I was in shock for three days. And then on the fourth I felt completely depressed. Now I just think it's great that Americans are doing whatever they can by donating their time, efforts, money, blood…whatever it is. Our music is just one thing we feel we can do to show our patriotism as Americans."

Alison Rupert

Alison: "…our response was to somehow try to express our feelings in music…"
"My first response was shock and horror. Then I wanted to connect with other Americans, with those directly involved, and somehow do something. We've all seen the amazing response Americans are showing across the country. As musicians, our natural response is to express our thoughts and feelings in music. Music is such a powerful force. It can bring people together in a touching way. We only hope that in some small way this will help other Americans to heal from the wounds of these terrible tragedies."

Richard Rupert

Richard: "…hopefully we can reach out and help with the healing in some small way…"
"My heart goes out to the victims of terror around the world, and it tears me apart that such an evil has now hit our country. Hopefully this musical effort can help provide a touching tribute to those who died, and at the same time reach out to others and help with the healing in some small way."
